The Problem
GoPro camera microphone jacks can easily become unseated from the Media Mod, causing the audio to disconnect, or worse, the GoPro itself to disconnect. This leaves motovlog rider with a day full of video with no audio, or no video/audio at all.
InSite Solution (Built in the Lab)
We designed, developed, and manufactured the WizzWare OnAir – an inline monitor between the helmet microphone and Media Mod. The premise is simple, if the connection is active, the indicator light is on, but if the light is off or flickering, your mic needs attention. The red indicator light can be placed anywhere in a helmet, like in the chin bar area or along the top of the pads so a quick interior or mirror check will verify the microphone connection. OnAir is completely transparent to the audio signal with zero signal loss and zero degradation so audio passes through perfectly.
OneReel fixes the files after the ride. OnAir protects the audio during the ride. Both were built in the Lab and productized through WizzWare.
